OJSC “Vinnytsia Oil-and-Fat-Production Plant” (VOFPP)
The first production line at Vinnytsya OSP was built in 1955. The plant was expanded significantly in the following years and was further expanded following its acquisition by ViOil. The plant currently occupies approximately 21 hectares of land and comprises the following principal facilities:
- oilseed processing plant with a daily processing capacity of 1,000 tonnes of sunflower seeds, 600 tonnes of rapeseeds or 355 tonnes of soy beans;
- oil hydrogenation and refining plant with a daily processing capacity of 140 tonnes of fats and 50 tonnes of oil; and
- PET packaging line with a daily bottling capacity of 20 tonnes.

In 2007, a new press and roaster was installed, increasing production capacity from 500 tonnes of sunflower seeds per day to 650 tonnes per day.
In 2008, new storage facilities were constructed, which allow ViOil to simultaneously store up to three types of seeds (with an aggregate capacity equivalent to 32,000 tonnes of sunflower seeds) as well as 25,200 tonnes of oil and 4,000 tonnes of protein meal. The plant can currently accept delivery of up to 2,500 tonnes of sunflower seeds per day and also is capable of accepting 2 types of seed simultaneously.
In 2009, Vinnytsya OFPP’s processing capacity increased from 650 tonnes of sunflower seeds per day to 690 tonnes per day.
Vinnytsya OFPP went through a significant modernization in 2010, which included installation of a new press and increased its daily sunflower seed production capacity from 690 tonnes to 1,000 tonnes.
